You can’t have a truly great performance without a rousing curtain call, so Nice Kicks and adidas Consortium are heading back to Woodstock for a second tie-dyed UltraBOOST, aptly dubbed “The Encore.” A follow-up to the collaborative partners’ first tie-dyed runner that released back in August, this subsequent silhouette keeps the line’s whimsical summer of ‘69 ethos intact, but switches up the accents for an alternate look.
Spiral tie-dye prints that interpolate a plethora of vibrant hues are splashed across the entire upper. This makes for a psychedelic base, one that’s held together both literally and figuratively by a translucent black midfoot cage and black accents on the heel clip and mudguard. The tongue badges are split between a Nice Kicks logo and a Woodstock-inspired guitar graphic, the latter of which also appears spread out across both insoles in a much larger fashion. Down below, a full-length black BOOST midsole and classic gum outsole — a nod to Nice Kicks’ first adidas collaboration, a tie-dye NMD R1 — complete the look. The shoes also come packaged in a special tie dye print-equipped tin.
The Nice Kicks x adidas Consortium UltraBOOST “The Encore” will release on Black Friday, November 29, exclusively on ShopNiceKicks.com and at the four Nice Kicks retail locations. The MSRP is set at $200 USD.
