PRA's "First Lady" Carrie. Debuts a New Visual for 'Pharmakon' Track "Diet Coke"
A highlight of her debut project.
Continuing to support her debut EP Pharmakon, the “first lady” of the ALLBLACK- and Offset Jim-helmed Play Runners Association — a Bay Area-based collective of talented artists — Carrie. is introducing a new music video for one of the aforementioned project’s highlights, “Diet Coke.” Notably, Carrie.’s new visual was put together by Stacking Memories, the same director responsible for equally-impressive clips from ALLBLACK, Offset Jim and others.
“The song’s about the start of a relationship, and the video is about its end,” Carrie. explains in a brief statement, breaking down today’s release.
“As I started writing music, heartbreak and dependency on another person were always at the tip of my tongue,” Carrie. previously revealed with us, sharing some insight into where her mind was at when she launched her career as a musician. “At the time, I was finding myself through my relationships and realizing a person can become synonymous for medicine, poison, or both depending on my mental.”
