The forthcoming, stop-start Woodstock 50 festival has drawn headlines for its drama-riddled lead-up, but assuming that everything’s now back on track, fans will have plenty to wear to the eagerly-awaited anniversary event. HUF has teased co-branded wearables and Nice Kicks and adidas are delivering their special tie-dyed UltraBOOST, the latter of which is the subject of our latest closer look.
Each sneaker features a classic multi-colored tie-dye pattern sublimation-printed on its knitted upper, a classic signifier of sunny days and good times. The semi-translucent cage and heel clip enable the vibrant blue, pink, yellow, orange and red details to take center stage, with white BOOST midsoles offering a clean counterpoint to the bold tones above. Red Torsion plates in the sole unit complement the matching Nice Kicks and Woodstock branding printed atop the insoles and tongue tags (complete with Consortium-branded eyelets), all set atop gum-hued outsoles.
