Krept & Konan Return as London's Stellar Rap Duo With Sophomore Album 'Revenge is Sweet'
As well as announcing a tour and releasing the music video for “Tell Me.”
London rap duo Krept & Konan have released their sophomore album Revenge is Sweet. The new 13-track album follows from their 2015 debut album The Long Way Home, which went on to become the highest-charting British rap album in UK chart history.
To keep up their esteemed reputation, Krept & Konan come in heavy from the first track of Revenge is Sweet, “Goat Level” which features nods to Kanye West’s political endeavors, their rise to fame after chasing their dreams, and comments on their life nowadays with bragging rights littered throughout.
Notable collaborators include Stormzy and the late Cadet — Krept’s cousin — on “Keep Talking,” as well as Headie One and K-Trap on “I Spy.” The pair have also worked with D-Block Europe and Ling Hussle on the track “Tell Me,” which was released as one of the lead songs on the album alongside a WOWA (Hardy Caprio, Ms Banks, Russ and Lady Leshurr) directed music video, which you can watch above.
