atmos Tokyo & adidas Originals Revisit OG Colors in New NMD R1 Collaboration
Featuring oversized branding and a printed BOOST sole unit.

atmos Tokyo and adidas Originals have come together once again for the release of an NMD R1 “Tricolor.” The limited-edition sneaker follows just weeks after the duo released a luminous snakeskin iteration of the NMD R1 at atmoscon.
This time around, atmos Tokyo looks to the NMD archives and gives its upper a “Tricolor” palette inspired by the OG pair that first released back in 2016. It caused much fanfare and became an instant favorite for many thanks to its retro-inspired look, Primeknit upper and full-length BOOST sole unit — which can all be found on the latest atmos Tokyo offering.
Asides from its black Primekit and tricolor Three Stripes, the pair sports oversized branding in white across the toe box and vamp, as well as traditional Kanji lettering printed onto the BOOST on the medial side. adidas branding and the trefoil logo graces the plug on the sole unit, while the rear webbed heel tab features its usual text print.
The duo rounds off this exclusive iteration with contrasting heel tabs, speckled black laces and a black outsole. Take a look at the atmos Tokyo x adidas Originals NMD R1 “Tricolor” in the gallery above, and pick up a pair for yourself on November 2 for ¥17,600 JPY (approx. $162 USD including tax) via atmos Tokyo stores and online.
