KANGHYUK & Reebok Reinterpret SRS Sole Fury Collab for DSM's 15th Anniversary
Offered up in a murdered-out black colorway.
Following the pop-up release for its wildly inventive Reebok SRS Sole Fury collaboration earlier this year, South Korean upstart KANGHYUK — headed by founders Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon —has now revealed a new collaborative take on the shoe for Dover Street Market’s 15th anniversary. Trading the white and red colorway for a murdered out black iteration, the shoe retains the same patchwork style as the first.
Utilizing repurposed airbags that have been dyed black, the upper sits atop the conventional, comfort-oriented Sole Fury mid and outsole. Throughout the shoe, the brand’s signature airbag material remains hand-stitched through, featuring raw fabric edges that veer off the silhouette in haphazard ways. As with the first collaboration, all shoes will feature unique imperfections, making each pair one-of-a-kind.
