Jessie Reyez Shares Brutal Music Video for "Crazy" (UPDATE)
The visual sees a bloody Reyez crawling on the floor to get some help.
UPDATE (November 24, 2019): Jessie Reyez has dropped a music video for her Patsy Cline cover of “Crazy.” The brutal visual sees the Grammy-nominated songstress in a violent argument with a man — presumably an abusive boyfriend — leaving her bloody on the floor. The man in question attempts to kill her and finally leaves after thinking he’s strangled her to death, but Reyez manages to pull the last of her strength together and drags herself to a nearby phone to get some help.

ORIGINAL STORY (November 18, 2019): Following her recent remix of Pink Sweat$ “Honesty,” Colombian-Canadian R&B songstress Jessie Reyez has returned with a brand new single that flips Patsy Cline’s 1961 classic, “Crazy.” The new rework sees Reyez gliding over a nostalgic flip of the Willie Nelson-penned country classic.
The instrumental features reworked production by Moose, whereby Reyez’ raw vocals help in updating Cline’s track through her sensual delivery. She brings forth her usual crooning, relaying an emotionally-fulfilling take on the soul-stirring classic.
