Devonté Hynes (Blood Orange) has offered a preview of his score for Melina Matsoukas’ forthcoming film, Queen & Slim. The two-pack release features “Hair,” a two-minute piano-based cut and “Kissed All Your Scars,” a three-minute track utilizing a string ensemble.

“Hair” and “Kissed All Your Scars” will be accompanied by 18 other tracks as Queen & Slim (Original Motion Picture Score) drops November 22 via Domino. The upcoming romantic thriller’s soundtrack also boasts an additional 17 songs from the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Burna Boy, 6LACK, Syd, Vince Staples, Lil Baby and Ms. Lauryn Hill‘s first solo track in five years.

Queen & Slim marks the directorial film debut Melina Matsoukas and stars Jodie Turner-Smith and Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) as the titular characters. This modern-day Bonnie and Clyde begins with Queen and Slim’s first date-gone-wrong after being pulled over for a minor traffic violation. Slim ends up shooting the police officer after the situation escalates and the two are forced to run from the law as they get labelled as cop killers in the media. However, a video of the situation goes viral and the two soon become a symbol of trauma, terror, grief and pain for people across the country.

Take a look at the tracklist below and stream “Hair” and “Kissed All Your Scars” on Spotify and Apple Music. Queen & Slim (Original Motion Picture Score) drops November 22 via Domino and Queen & Slim hits theaters November 27.
