A$AP Mob Announces Fifth Annual Yams Day in Brooklyn
Expect members of the crew and their friends to make appearances.

A$AP Mob announced its fifth annual Yams Day event on November 13, what would have been the late producer’s 31st birthday. Promising appearances “from A$AP Mob & friends,” the event is to be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
A$AP Yams, a founding member of the A$AP mob collective that includes over a dozen members, passed away on January 18, 2015 and has since been memorialized in annual Yams Day events that aim to celebrate Yams’ young life. Past Yams Day gatherings have proven hugely popular, drawing immense crowds and performances from artists that range from Kendrick Lamar and Lil Uzi Vert to Cam’Ron and Soulja Boy.
This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Always Strive and Prosper Foundation, founded by Tatianna Rodriguez, Yams’ mother. The foundation aims to provide accessible education about substance use and abuse to young people and underrepresented communities, along with back-to-school events, Thanksgiving dinners and Mother’s Day celebrations.
Scheduled for January 17, tickets for Yams Day 2020 go on sale via Ticketmaster beginning November 15 with a pre-sale currently available with a password revealed on A$AP Mob’s Instagram.
Recently, several Mob members were in attendance at Yams Day vet Tyler, the Creator‘s yearly Camp Flog Gnaw event.
