Tremaine Emory Announces "A Proper Burial, Thanks America" Installation in London
Along with the launch of limited sweatshirts and tees.

Tremaine Emory‘s Denim Tears imprint will be holding an immersive art installation and retail event this coming weekend in London. The new drop is a reprise of the recent drop Emory hosted this past summer.
Named “A PROPER BURIAL, THANKS AMERICA,” the two-day installation features Emory’s latest series of experimental works; “A PROPER BURIAL, THANKS AMERICA,” as Emory mentions, “subverts the African American identity by reimagining the racialized iconography of Americana.” There will also be the launch of a limited collection that is comprised of sweatshirts and T-shirts. The items will later go online at Denim Tears on Oct 5, 2:00 PM EST. Those in London can visit the installation from 12:00 PM — 7:00 PM.
In other news, Fortune W.W.D’s inaugural collection plays with the concept of duality.
