Following up a teaser of a collaborative Timberland Field Boot “Beef & Broc”, jeffstaple has now taken on another classic piece of Timberland footwear: the Timberland 6-Inch Side Zip Boot. Keeping the OG 6-Inch’s construction-ready spirit fully intact, Staple has also added plenty of its fitting New York flair.
jeffstaple recently teamed with Timberland for deconstructed footwear; this Staple collaboration is comparatively conventional. The wheat base plays with texture, contrasting a rough-hewn suede on the toebox, mudguard, and tongue with a smoother nubuck on the heel, added-on tab and quarter panel; the latter receives a little extra juice with white contrast stitching. Black padding appears around the collar and a heavy-gauge gold zipper on the medial side assists with easy on-and-off access.
The upper is rife with special branding as well. One side features two fabric badges — a Staple globe logo and a Timberland wordmark graphic with a the former brand’s iconic pigeon logo. The other lists off ‘07, ‘15 and ‘19, acknowledging the three years that the two brands have joined forces for collaborative projects. Stamped Staple and Timberland hits throughout complete the look.
Expect the Staple x Timberland 6-Inch Side Zip Boot to release on November 8 at retailers like BSTN, with the MSRP set at €230 EUR (approx. $255 USD).
