sacai x Nike Blazer Mid Gets New Release Date
Dropping in both “Black/Wolf Grey/White” and “White/Wolf Grey.”
After sacai debuted its upcoming Nike Blazer Mid collaborations back in August, the two monochrome takes on the silhouette now have a new release date and official imagery. The sneaker is dressed in either ”Black/Wolf Grey/White” or “White/Wolf Grey,” with both colorways now set to release on October 11.
Similarly to previous sacai x Nike releases, the two colorways feature a number of repeated and overlapped design touches including double Swooshes, laces and tongues. Announcing the latest colorways of the collaborative Blazer Mid earlier this year, Nike’s Senior Director of Special Projects Fraser Cooke explained that sacai and Nike “literally got two photocopied pictures of two different shoes that they folded in half and put on top of each other” in the design process.
Take an up-close look at the two colorways in the gallery above, and expect them both to hit retailers including Dover Street Market and Sneakersnstuff on October 1o.
In related news, Nike has also teamed up with artist Cody Hudson.
