The Reebok Answer V is Coming Back in Black and Silver
An ever-so-slightly altered take on one of Allen Iverson’s most famous signature models.

Allen Iverson may have retired from the NBA in 2013 but his impact on the game is still as palpable as ever, and after paying homage to his formative years with a mismatched Question “Double Cross,” Reebok is now saluting AI’s 2001-02 campaign with a slightly altered OG colorway of the Answer V.
Fresh off of winning an MVP award and leading his Sixers to the NBA finals before falling in five games to Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and the Lakers during 2000-01, Iverson took to the court in a black/grey Answer V during several away games in the 2001-02 season. That style is faithfully re-crafted here, save for one noticeable difference — the original grey accent color is swapped out for a more bold silver tone.
Apart from the aforementioned tone shift, these Answers are all classic. The upper is constructed of a tumbled black leather, while the signature sheath that covers the throat sports shimmering silver leather and textured graphics. Black patent leather is present on the heel’s hook-and-loop closure system and the toebox. An Iverson logo on the lateral midfoot and a signature on the heel collar provide branded style. They’re no slouch on the performance end of the spectrum either, thanks to a full-foot DMX cushioning system.
This familiar basketball shoe will release on reebok.com come October 18. The retail price is set at $140 USD.
