Announced earlier this year in June, popular Japanese anime One Punch Man is getting a new video game adaptation dubbed One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. Releasing under Bandai Namco, it’s been revealed that significant characters, among others, like Saitama, Genos, Mumen Rider and Speed-o’-Sound Sonic will be playable. The original trailer of the game offers a glimpse at some of the game’s mechanics, custom characters and more, but those eager enough to play the game before its wide release can now sign up to be included in its closed beta.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is expected to release in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will have a story mode where the player can venture on missions as a custom character, whose aim is to battle all the way to the top ranks of the Hero Association. The closed beta will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, exclusively for the US, Canada and Latin America. Sign-ups are currently open, cutting off on October 16 – selected participants will be notified on October 29, while the beta will take place between November 1 – 3.

Elsewhere, a recent lawsuit against Fortnite claims the game is “as addictive as cocaine.”

Session 2: November 1, 11pm – 1am PST
