Answer the Call With the Naked & Famous x Ghostbusters Capsule Collection
Featuring a glow-in-the-dark stretch denim fabric and limited-edition denim jackets.
With Ghostbusters celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, denim stalwart Naked & Famous is honoring the cult classic with a capsule collection. Comprised of 2 Ghostbusters-inspired denim fabrics and two denim jackets, the limited-edition collection is slated to hit stores October 21.
Utilizing unique fabrics inspired by the film, the collection features the “Slimer Denim” jean crafted with a fully glow-in-the-dark stretch denim that turns to an ectoplasmic green color in the dark. The second jean option, dubbed the “Supernatural Selvedge,” is offered as a dark indigo Japanese selvedge denim with glow-in-the-dark selvedge edges. Each choice includes printed pocketbags, “no-ghost” logo embroidery on the back pockets and a custom glow-in-the-dark leather patch. Both fabrics will be available in Naked & Famous’ Super Guy, Weird Guy and Easy Guy fits.
Two black selvedge denim jackets round out the collection, with each piece featuring a large custom chenille patch on the back. Both items will be available for less than 100 units each.
All products sold in the capsule will include a dual-branded UV backlight keychain flashlight, allowing the wearer to play with and “draw” glowing lines on the jeans.
