JuniorChef Taps ShiGGa Shay, SonaOne & JP THE WAVY for New Single "DOMO"
The hip-hop worlds of Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan collide.
Coming off his recent “Tsugi” single with Japanese rapper Young Coco, Korean-based producer JuniorChef (know for the global hit “It G Ma”) has returned with his latest effort, “DOMO.” Tapping Singaporean rapper ShiGGa Shay, Malaysian rapper SonaOne, and Japanese rapper JP THE WAVY, the producer’s latest track maintains the same trap-tinged sound he’s helped in ushering in within the Asian sphere. Once again bringing together a range of diverse hip-hop talent, Chef’s latest track continues to explore the vastness of hip-hop’s reach many in the West are unfamiliar with.
ShiGGa Shay starts off the track with his deeply seductive flow, with SonaOne picking up the second verse with trilingual lyricism crossing English, French, and Malay. JP THE WAVY rounds out the ending, drilling out his usual hard-hitting flow. Alongside the new single, the four have put together a cipher-like visual on location in Tokyo, whereby the three rappers can be seen dishing out their bars in meticulous fashion.
