DaBaby's 'KIRK' Projected to Debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200
Overtaking Post Malone’s three-week reign with ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding.’

DaBaby’s KIRK is looking to open on top of the Billboard 200 chart, with HITS Daily Double estimating the project to generate 130,000 to 150,000 equivalent album units and 160 million to 180 million streams. If the projection is accurate, the North Carolina rapper will knock Post Malone’s Hollywood Bleeding off the throne after three consecutive weeks, and KIRK will officially mark DaBaby’s first No. 1 album.
The 2019 XXL Freshman dropped KIRK just six months after his debut studio album Baby on Baby, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. The 13-track sophomore effort features guest verses from the likes of Chance the Rapper, Kevin Gates, Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane and Migos, and has since received positive reviews from critics and fans alike.
Elsewhere in music, Kanye West’s Jesus Is King is reportedly delayed indefinitely.
