This year’s top new stars are finally revealed.
The 2019 XXL Freshman Class is here. This year’s Freshman Class includes 11 artists: Comethazine, Tierra Whack, DaBaby, Lil Mosey, Roddy Ricch, YBN Cordae, YK Osiris, Rico Nasty, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion and the 10th Spot winner, Blueface.
XXL will be releasing content around the 12th annual Freshman Class, which includes behind-the-scenes moments, solo interviews, freestyles, cyphers and roundtable discussions. This year, DJ Scheme leads the Freshman cyphers.
The 2019 Freshman issue of XXL magazine will hit stands everywhere on July 16. Fans can see this year’s Freshmen perform live in New York City’s PlayStation Theater on Mon., July 22 and in Los Angeles on Thurs., July 25 at The Novo.
