This 1997 Acura Integra Type R Just Sold for $82,000 USD
The price of the DC2 continues to rise.

The sale for a 1997 Integra Type R over at Bring A Trailer has closed for an astounding price of $82,000 USD. The Championship White example is just 1-of-350 examples that made it over Stateside in the year 1997 and has only accumulated some 6,000 miles on the dash in the 22 years since its purchase from the original owner.
This iconic naturally aspirated DC2 is of course powered by the legendary Honda VTEC B18C5 DOHC inline-four engine — a highly efficient engine (at the time) that was dressed with a signature red valve cover, capable of putting out 195 horsepower at a screaming 8,000 rpm with 130 lb-ft of torque. While we’ve been seeing the price of these JDM legends increase every year at auctions, it’s still nonetheless impressive to see this one go for almost four times its original sticker price.
In other automotive news, this tank-like 2015 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is up for auction.
