'Big Mouth' Creators Announce Spinoff Series 'Human Resources'
Dubbed a “workplace comedy.”
During Big Mouth‘s New York Comic Con panel on Thursday, Netflix announced that a spinoff of the hit animated series, titled Human Resources, is in the works.
The streaming giant went on to describe the new series as a workplace comedy set in the world of Big Mouth‘s monsters. According to Variety, Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, and Kelly Galuska will serve as creators and executive producers on the new series.
Big Mouth is inspired by Kroll and Goldberg’s childhood and follows a group of friends and their “Hormone Monsters” as they navigate adolescence, human sexuality, and coming of age. The series stars Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jenny Slate, Jason Mantzoukas, Maya Rudolph, Jordan Peele, and Fred Armisen. Season 3 is set to debut on Netflix this Friday.
