Though the project began in 2018, G-Eazy and PUMA have now officially announced their partnership. The pair celebrated the reveal with a special event ahead of G-Eazy’s Rolling Loud performance in late September.

At the dinner, PUMA showcased a special colorway of the Ralph Sampson Lo sneaker, a silhouette named for the retired NBA star, who was in attendance. Though G-Eazy wore the model, he didn’t design it; his collaborative PUMA shoe is set to arrive in early 2020. In the meantime, PUMA will support the rapper’s philanthropic The Endless Summer Fund, a non-profit that provides aid to Bay Area youth and grants them access to musician mentors.
