Chance The Rapper Set to Host and Perform on 'SNL'
Pulling double duty.

Chance The Rapper is the latest celebrity to join an elite club of double performers featured on the hit comedy-sketch show Saturday Night Live. Not only will Chance host an upcoming episode, he will also perform as the night’s musical guest.
Chance first made his appearance on SNL in December of 2015 where he made history as the first unsigned artist ever to perform as a musical guest on the show. He performed Somewhere in Paradise along with Jeremih, followed by a mellow version of Sunday’s Candy featuring Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment. In 2017 Chance took on his first hosting duty, where he also performed alongside Eminem on his track, “Walk on Water.”
Past double performers on SNL include the likes of Drake, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton, and Ariana Grande. Chance’s double duty show will air on Saturday, October 26.
Chance released his most recent album, The Big Day, back in July and recently had a voice appearance in Disney’s live-action The Lion King.
