Chance the Rapper Talks Barack Obama, Kanye West & JAY-Z on 'Carpool Karaoke'
With host James Corden.
During a recent segment of Carpool Karaoke, which aired during The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night, Chance The Rapper joined forces with host Corden as the duo took on the road with song.
With Corden at the wheel and Chance in the passenger seat, the pair cruised the streets of LA while the Grammy-winning musician opened up about his friendships with former President Barack Obama, Kanye West and JAY-Z. Chance went on to share how Obama and JAY-Z are hard to get on the phone, however he has a direct line to West.
“I don’t have a number for him but I have a number for him,” he said. “I have a person I could call that will say ‘OK, I will have him call you.’ It’s the same with JAY-Z. JAY-Z and Barack Obama are very, very similar. Both of them have an assistant that you have to call and then you get a call from a private number that’s either JAY-Z or Barack Obama on the phone. I never know which one is calling when I get that callback.”
Elsewhere in the comedy skit, Corden serves up a plate of veggies to Chance, who hates vegetables, while Chance brakes down the non-confrontational ways he deals with receiving an unsatisfactory verse from a collaborator. Check it all out above.
