Following on from AMBUSH‘s recent Nike collaboration, YOON has now given a first look at an upcoming joint release with Converse. The image — posted to Instagram — shows a rubber take on the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette coming in an all-white colorway.

In the accompanying capsule, YOON explained that the collaborative sneaker is “inspired by vintage military winter boots Converse used to produce for US military.” The military influence can be seen in utilitarian touches including the sneaker’s rubber construction, as well as black text across the upper. The design is finished with AMBUSH branding in black across the heel. Take a first look at the sneaker below, and expect it to release alongside the label’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection later this year.
