Having one of the most adaptive designs within Nike‘s sneaker line, the Pegasus ditches the extended sole unit of its training version and returns to its iconic lifestyle silhouette.

Nike surfaces two pairs of Air Pegasus 89, each coated with contrasting palettes. Opting for a retro white as its anchor, one of the iteration’s nylon mesh upper is adorned with hits of vibrant orange on the tongue tab and on the heel, while a royal blue dresses the Swoosh and the “Nike Air” motif at the rear. The other colorway is a night life-inspired triple-black edition which incorporates a purple tongue tab and is detailed with “Blue Lagoon” accents throughout the look.

The official release date of the Nike Air Pegasus 89s has yet to be confirmed; it is rumored that they will be available on Nike.com and at select retailers in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information.

In other sneaker news, Nike’s Blazer Mid ‘77 goes “Pacific Blue.”
