nonnative Serves up Safari-Ready Stylings in SS19 Lookbook

Over the years, Japanese imprint nonnative has maintained itself as a staunch force in the fashion realm — creating luxuriously crafted goods that offer a unique twist on the usual Japanese-infused workwear. This time around, nonnative is back with a safari and hunting-themed collection that is served up in its latest Spring/Summer 2019 lookbook.
Drawing inspiration from 1990s-era sports and luxury casual wear, the lookbook spotlights a range of offerings from outerwear and tailored shirting to trousers and accessories. The color palette remains true to the brands normative output, consisting of beige, pink, and navy tones, with emerald hues and various prints sprinkled throughout. One of the patterns utilized is a newly designed “zest” print by longtime collaborator Liberty of London — inspired by varying spices, dried fruits, and flowers that were traded along the Silk Road.
Some notable pieces in the collection are varying outerwear pieces in Ultrasuede® and GORE-TEX® 2L fabrics, offering lightweight and breathable options for the warmer months ahead. Comfortable cotton fabrics are equally employed in the various Henley shirts, tailored shirting, and various new styles of trousers and cargos. Also featured are a range of denim offerings in indigo and grey washes. Alongside the garments comes a variety of sun-blocking headwear, eyewear, as well as variously-sized bags.
