The Air Jordan 1 Gets a "Blue Chill" Makeover
Paying homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater.
Jordan Brand has a lot in store for the New Year, and more specifically for its women clientele.
Set to release in a women’s only silhouette, Jordan Brand pays homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater with a pair of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OGs dressed in a “Blue Chill” colorway. Crafted in patent leather, hits of the North Carolina blue can be found on the toe box, heel cap, ankle strap and outsole, while white takes on the midsole and side panels. “Obsidian blue” is then featured on the laces, tongue and Swoosh branding.
Look for these women’s only “Blue Chill” Air Jordan 1 to release at select European Jordan Brand retailers such as sivasdescalzo on February 2 for $160 USD. A stateside release is then scheduled for February 14 just in time for this year’s NBA All-Star Game set to take place on February 17 down in Charlotte, North Carolina.
