King Krule Drops Animated Visual for "Logos"
From his 2017 album ‘The Ooz.’
Back in 2017, King Krule released a new studio album titled The Ooz — the first King Krule LP since 2013. Since that release, the project has been supported with videos for album cuts like “Biscuit Town” and “Cadet Limbo.” Now, we’re receiving an animated vignette — brought to life using drawings from King Krule architect Archy Marshall’s older brother — for one of The Ooz‘s tracks, “Logos.”
“She smoked me whole and blows out Os / The sink had sunk, it overflows,” King Krule sings. “The door is shut, my eyes are closed / I hear her moan or what I suppose / The thing about her, I must let go / Why I sing about her, she’ll never know.”
“I think this album set me up for my next one, which I’m working on already,” King Krule told us back in October of 2017, opening up about The Ooz and his future plans. “Right now I’m in a good place creatively, I’m writing these songs that I wish I’d written before so I could release them now.”
