Nike SB Gives the Team Classic a Tom Sachs-Inspired Makeover

Borrowing the colors and shades made popular by the Tom Sachs Mars Yard 2.0, Nike SB put together a new Team Classic colorway based on the contemporary artist’s lauded sneaker.

This time around, the uppers of the skate shoe feature dark brown suede forefoot panels and off white nylon mesh underlays, all accented by tonal stitching. Branding comes in the form of bright-red midfoot Swooshes and matching Nike SB tags at the tongue and heel. Elevating the shoe is a sole unit that sees an innovative pressure-dispersing traction pattern, and grip-focused sidewall.
