With Nike‘s annual Air Max Day on the horizon, we should be expecting the Swoosh team to share a selection of Air Max models to heighten its anticipation. Today we take a look at a new colorway of the Air VaporMax Plus set to arrive next month.

The forthcoming “Black/Aluminum” iteration incorporates a blacked out Air VaporMax unit that’s matched by a webbed overlay. Its upper welcomes the aforementioned shade of grey — dubbed aluminum — and transitions from a lighter to darker hue as you move from its toe to the heel’s mini Swoosh. The “Black/Aluminum” colorway is finalized thanks to an upgraded take on the “Tn” logo found on the heel of the Air Max Plus in the form of “Vm.”

The Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Black/Aluminum” arrives on February 2 for $190 USD. If you’re a fan of the the Air VaporMax Plus’ modern look, you can take a look at its “Eggplant” edition.
