adidas Originals Hits the Mat With Minimalist Taekwondo Slip-On
Inspired by martial artist footwear.
adidas Originals serves up another innovative silhouette by way of the new Taekwondo. Inspired by multiple archive silhouettes, the new model takes clear cues from martial artist footwear, with an elastic, foot-hugging upper crafted from sturdy canvas and a grippy rubber outsole below. The slip-on style is offered in white or black, with contrasting Three Stripes at the medial side and gold foil branding towards the heel. The sneaker’s outsole spacing provides comfort for the rear and forefoot, while allowing the midfoot to contort naturally.
The womens-only model is set to drop at adidas Originals retailers like FarFetch on February 7 for $90 USD.
