Pharrell & adidas Bring Good Fortune With "Chinese New Year Hu" Pack
Three Stripes confirms a release this February.
adidas Originals‘ latest Chinese New Year-inspired offering turns the Crazy BYW and SolarHu Glide into bright and bold canvases. In collaboration with Pharrell Williams, special odes to Chinese culture are expressed through red uppers with strong gold accents – a color combination known to bring happiness and good fortune. The basketball-influenced BYW features the word “AMBITION” embroidered across each upper while the SolarHu Glide incorporates the ‘Fú’ symbol – an insignia that’s normally stamped upside-down on the doors of Chinese homes to attract prosperity and positivity.
Following reveals earlier in the month, the adidas Originals by Pharrell Williams “Chinese New Year Hu” Pack arrives on February 11 at select adidas retailers and adidas.com.
