The Trailer for 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' Has Finally Arrived
Jean Gray’s ascension begins.
With Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox reaching its final stages and the release dates being pushed back, most thought the two upcoming X-Men films wouldn’t see the light of day. After confirming both films will arrive in 2019, the trailer for X-Men: Dark Phoenix has finally arrived.
The trailer above showcases the younger cast from X-Men: Apocalypse that have come into their own 10 years later. The film will focus on Sophie Turner‘s Jean Gray and her transition to her counterpart alias, The Phoenix, following the activation of some extreme power. The storyline has been teased and realized in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, respectively, but this film has been said to follow closer to the comic book storyline it’s adapted from.
