After months of teasingUNDERCOVER recently took to Instagram to reveal the release date for its upcoming Nike React Element 87 collab.

Sporting a colorful mix of tones, Jun Takahashi‘s take on the stripped-down React Element 87 is finally set to drop just as the running silhouette hits peak popularity. The mashup of bold colors offers a contrast design that separates the translucent TPE yarn base from the exposed stitching, exterior heel taping and trail-style laces at the upper. Branding comes in the form of “UNDERCOVER Jun Takahashi” wording on each lateral side, while Nike React insignia sits on the top of the tongue and heel counter. Rounding up the design of the shoes is Nike’s newly-developed, drilled React sole unit, complete with embedded rubber segments.

Look for the UNDERCOVER x React Element 87 collab to release on September 13 at UNDERCOVER Aoyama, Shinjuku Isetan MENS/LADIES, Hankyu MENS Tokyo, Hankyu MENS Osaka, Hankyu Umeda Main Building, LUCUA 1100, Nike SNKRS, NikeLab and other select retailers. Stay tuned for a full retailer list in the near future.

In case you missed it, take a closer look at all the colorways in the UNDERCOVER x Nike React Element 87 collab.
