Poggy Unveils Sock-Like PUMA Suede for the Model's 50th Anniversary
A laceless makeover.
As part of its continuing Suede 50th project, German sportswear brand PUMA has tapped UNITED ARROWS & SONS mastermind Poggy for a special edition of its iconic sneaker, with a capsule collection to match.
The Suede has been transformed into a high-top silhouette, with a sock-like upper that unstraps for easy access. Branding on the shoe’s sides has been stripped away, yielding a minimalist look that complements the sleek design. Offered in men’s and women’s iterations, the tracksuit sports a slouchy fit and muted colors that tie into the unconventional Suede model. A monochrome, co-branded tee rounds out the range.
Expect the UNITED ARROWS & SONS website to launch the collection on September 15 before PUMA’s Japanese web store hosts the drop on September 29
