The Nike LeBron 16 Receives a Delicious "Oreo" Makeover
Slam dunk.

Late last month basketball superstar LeBron James revealed his latest signature silhouette with Nike. Dubbed the LeBron 16, the court sneaker features the same Battleknit upper as its 15 predecessor, this time taking on the fan favorite coloroway of “Oreo.” The black-and-white color palette is seen throughout the silhouette’s upper as well as the “LJ” crown motif found on the tongue tab. Elsewhere, black hits on the heel counter, tongue and laces can be seen, while a white midsole and icey translucent sole round up the overall look of this model. Additionally, the initials of LeBron’s three children have been embroidered on the left heel, “330” — the area code of Akron – on the right, and a chenille “2” and “3” are featured on the right and left tongue, respectively.
Those interested in the Nike LeBron 16 “Oreo” will have to wait as an official release date has yet to be shared. On the other-hand, the black and university red Nike LeBron 16 is rumored for a September 20 release.
