With the start of the 2018-19 NBA season just around the corner, reports are noting that LeBron James will be debuting a “King” colorway of his Nike LeBron 16 signature shoe.

Part of Nike‘s “1 Thru 5” collection, the commemorative iteration serves as a nod to the small forward position that James currently dominates. The shoe features a bold red Battleknit upper accented by leopard heel panels that pay homage to the classic Air Zoom Generation ad campaign that surfaced during the new LA Lakers star’s early career. Rounding up the design of the shoe is the ad printed on the insoles, along with gold hits on the Swoosh, heel tab and tongue.

Priced at $185 USD, look for the Nike LeBron 16 “King” to release sometime after LeBron James wears them during the 2018-19 NBA season tip-off on October 18.

In case you missed it, LeBron James recently revealed more details for Space Jam 2.
