As we see each and every year, the transition period leading into the fall/winter season proves a breeding ground for sneaker brands such as Nike and adidas to begin applying tonal “Wheat” makeovers to select silhouettes. Nike, for instance, has already unveiled both the Air Darwin and Air Terra Humara ’18 in the work boot-like colorway, however, now appoints the Air Force 1 High to take on the fall-friendly hue.
Premium suede in the signature tone envelops the upper in its entirety apart from the greyish/brown mesh panel found sitting behind the side Swooshes and tongue, providing increased breathability and subtle color contrast. Finishing off the new rendition is the trademark cored-out sole unit sitting below. Although price has still yet to be confirmed, this new Air Force 1 High will make its way to Nike’s online shop in the coming weeks ahead.
In related news, adidas reworked the classic Stan Smith in a boot-like “Wheat” finish.
