LeBron James & Kevin Durant’s "It Ain't Easy" Rap Song Surfaces
“I got the money, but that’s the root of all evil. I stayed the same, but it’s changing all the wrong people.”

Back in 2011 during the NBA Lockout, basketball superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant decided to hit the studio together to record a song. Now that song has finally made its way to the Internet. Titled, “It Ain’t Easy,” the track features bars from both Durant and James who touch upon their lack of Championships (at the time of recording neither had won one) and their journey to stardom. Since the recording of the song, both have gone on to win multiple championships and MVP titles.
“I got the money, but that’s the root of all evil. I stayed the same, but it’s changing all the wrong people,” Durant says. “Every hater all the same, I feelin’ like the world is Skip Bayless and I’m LeBron James.”
