Fujifilm Unveils Its 100-Megapixel GFX 100 Camera

Continuing its unveilings at Photokina 2018, Fujifilm revealed its upcoming flagship medium format camera from the GFX lineup.
Noted as the world’s first mirrorless medium format camera with a 100-megapixel sensor, the latest design will feature both in-body image stabilization and 4K video. Although not priced for the casual camera enthusiast, the GFX 100 will combat the Hasselblad H6D-400c MS and the Phase One XF IQ4 150MP that are priced around the $50,000 USD range. No official spec notes just yet, but the camera is said to record in 4K, 10bit, 4:2:0 internally with the ability to capture video in 4K, 10bit, 4:2:2 externally via HDMI.
Priced at $10,000 USD, Fujifilm’s 100-megapixel medium format GFX 100 camera is set to release sometime in 2019.
