Y-3 Introduces Tri-Color Kusari II for FW18
Elevated styling on a BOOST sole.
Y-3 reinvents its Kusari silhouette for Fall/Winter 2018, introducing a revamped Kusari II. Sitting atop a black BOOST outsole, the white, black and red shoe boasts an engineered lacing system and inflated heel panels for extra stability. Tonal laces blend into the white upper, save for the black lacelocks, with varied placement mimicking the jagged stitching on the forefoot. A large red tag on the tongue complements the accents of color on the rear, appearing on the heel pull tab and plastic ankle reflector. A swath of black suede adds textural contrast to the sleek, contemporary design.
The Kusari II hits Y-3’s web store on August 24 for $400 USD.
Elsewhere, the label debuted its Saikou silhouette in a similarly understated “Core White” colorway.
