Rising Chicago rapper Kami has revealed plans for his second studio album and introduced the LP with a star-studded new single.
Known as Very Slight, Kami’s upcoming LP is scheduled to drop on September 14. The project is being promoted with a lead single titled “Reboot,” which features Chance The Rapper, Smoko Ono and Joey Purp; besides its normal delivery as a single, the track also comes to us courtesy of a Cole Bennett-directed visual.
Notably, Kami is part of the Vic Mensa-affiliated SAVEMONEY collective, and has previously worked with Joey Purp as one-half of Leather Corduroys. Additionally, the release of Very Slight‘s new “Reboot” single is receiving support from Refuge Foundation for the Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing venues for artistic expression in areas without the necessary resources.
