Javier Calleja Alters German Gallery for "Fake Is the Future" Exhibit
Showcasing transformative works on canvas, paper, and mural paintings.
Javier Calleja will present a new solo exhibition at Galerie Zink in Germany. Entitled “Fake is the future,” the show will feature transformative works on canvasses, paper, and mural paintings. The Spanish artist will convert the gallery space, offering an immersive experience where the works “are camouflaged with their background and merge with space” that allows viewers to interact with it. Calleja’s works draw inspiration from Pop, Surrealism, and Minimalism. He is widely known for his portrayals of childlike subjects with magnetic eyes.
“Fake Is the Future” will open to the public on August 16 until August 19. Head over to Galerie Zink’s official website to learn more. In other art news, the American Folk Art Museum will honor Raf Simons for his signature Calvin Klein quilts.
