Erykah Badu is the latest guest on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series. The legendary singer performed “Rimshot” from Baduizm and “Green Eyes” off of Mama’s Gun. She was joined by a seven-piece band for the intimate jam session. Band members included RC Williams, Braylon Lacy, Cleon Edwards, Frank Moka, Kenneth Whalum, Keyon Harrold, and Dwayne Kerr. In other news, Badu was featured in the trailer for What Men Want, a new film starring the singer alongside Taraji P. Henson. The movie is produced by Will Packer and directed by Adam Shankman. Badu plays a psychic whose tea potion allows Taraji P. Henson’s character to hear men’s thoughts.
