For months it has been rumored that Drake would be switching sides from Nike to adidas. Adding more fuel to the fire, Pusha-T’s scathing diss track “The Story of Adidon” seemingly suggested that Drizzy would in fact be moving to the German giant. However, after teaming up with Travis Scott on “Sicko Mode,” a featured track on Scott’s highly-anticipated album, Astroworld, it looks like Drake is trying to squash those rumors. On the aforementioned track, Drake can be heard referencing Jordan Brand, “Checks over Stripes, that’s what I like (Yeah).”

For a more detailed break-down on the situation, the creatives over at Genius have created a short clip which can be viewed above. Head over to Genius for more details.

Also keeping the pendulum on the side of Nike, Drake recently revealed his upcoming OVO x Nike Scorpion basketball jerseys.
