Aphex Twin Announces 'Collapse' EP, Shares “T69 Collapse” Video
First project since 2014’s ‘Syro’ album.
There has been speculation that Aphex Twin was going to release new music when posters were seen popping up all over the world last week. Today (August 7), Richard D. James has officially announced the Collapse EP, which will be out Sept. 14 on Warp Records.
Collapse is a five-track project and the first album from Aphex Twin since 2014’s Syro. James drops the video for the intro track “T69 Collapse,” which is directed by Weirdcore. The video was set to premiere on Adult Swim last night but was pulled at the last minute because it failed the epilepsy test.
