Awake NY Embraces Bold Graphics With Mid-Summer 2018 Collection

Awake NY returns in the middle of the blazing hot summer with a new selection of seasonal goods. T-shirt hues range from understated white to pale pastels, with the disparate prints showcasing everything from playful all-over logos to an Awake NY-branded goldfish bowl. Another shirt is emblazoned with “EQUALITY AND JUSTICE” alongside the brand’s logo, utilizing the colors of the Pan-African flag to drive its message home, while a blue T-shirt highlights lyrics from Nas’s “Ether” in an Old English font. Finally, a Gil Scott-Heron-saluting design recalls concert merch, citing “Summer 2018” and “New York City” as the event’s location, and Awake NY as the special guest, with a photo of the celebrated photo on the front to reinforce the motif.
