Kevin Gates Roams the Streets of Watts for New "Vouch" Video
The Baton Rouge rapper is the people’s champion.
Fresh off last month’s delivery of the “Intro Edition” video, Kevin Gates revisits his surprise May EP Chained to the City for the visual in support of “Vouch.”
Notably, the Baton Rouge superstar takes a trip to Watts, CA to deliver literal proof of the communities that “Vouch” for him. “I’m really that, the streets will vouch,” Gates spits. “The people vouch / The jail will vouch / All the n*ggas in the feds will vouch.” Filmed by director Julien Soulier, Kevin Gates’ “Vouch” clip also features an appearance by Compton native and NBA player Demar Derozan. As you can see in the clip, Kevin Gates and his BWA crew almost brought the entire city out for the “Vouch” shoot.
