Travis Scott Shares a Crazy Tour Story & the Inspirations Behind His Jordan Trunner Collab
“I’ve never seen the Trunner with so many colors on it.”

Earlier this month, Travis Scott wore his first Jordan collaboration and even blessed one very lucky fan with his own personal pair of sneakers. Known as the Trunner “Cactus Jack,” the shoe served as the followup to the “Royal” makeover of the aforementioned Jordan sneaker. Now, the “Butterfly Effect” artist has linked up with Nike to open up about his new shoes, the motivations behind it, some of the “craziest” things he has seen at shows, and more. “I didn’t want to do anything traditional. I’ve never seen the Trunner with so many colors on it,” Travis explains. “I wanted something different; to see that model differently.” As far as the “craziest thing that has ever happened at a gig wearing J’s,” the Birds in the Trap rapper shares:
“I would say it was at a show I did in Portland. I had everyone raise their shoes up and I gave a pair of my AJ4s I was wearing off my feet to a kid who I thought had the best Jordans.”
