Kendrick Lamar Thanks Fans for 'DAMN''s Double Platinum Status

A mere three months after release, Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN. received double platinum status. As such, K-Dot took to Instagram to show appreciation to his fans for making the album such a commercial success. “These murals forever belong to my fans. You’ve always taken my words above and beyond. Around the world and back again. With trust. I am forever grateful. 2x,” wrote Lamar on his Instagram post. Nielsen Music has listed DAMN as the top album in its mid-year report. According to the tracking system, DAMN collected 1,772,000 sales plus streaming units in the first six months of 2017.
